This Pub is Closed Long Term

Closed in September 2023. The pub had reopened 6/1/15 as a pub after a long period of closure. What a different view Joseph Davis would have had when he was landlord here in 1818. Even after all the development, this is still a good base for riverside walks. Inside, the brickwork floor draws you to a raised area to the right, and a lounge bar to the left. There are plans for a pool table and food in due course. The patio is fenced off for safety, and there is a large car park. Registered as an Asset of Community Value (ACV) in 2013.
