This Pub is Permanently Closed

A restored grade II listed building which dates back to the fifteenth century, with picturesque views of the Essex countryside. Historic records show that drinks have been served there since 1851. The pub was closed for several years, but after a long campaign from the local community it was brought to life once again. A clean, tidy and smart pub with good food and plenty of seating. The pub can get very busy.
