Imposing freehouse dating back to 1608 overlooking the village green. The public bar is furnished with period tables and chairs and features wooden floors and oak beams. There are a number of nooks and crannies but central is an imposing inglenook fireplace. There is an enclosure at the front of the pub and a small courtyard garden at the rear for outside drinking. An acoustic music session is held at about 5pm on alternate Sunday afternoons. See website for details.
