Traditional two-bar pub on a corner location close to the railway station, built in the 1830s as the Railway Tavern with its name changed to the Buckingham Arms in 1848. There is a quiet small Saloon bar at the front and a games oriented Public bar at the rear with pool, dominoes and darts, plus large screen TV and gaming machines. Two regular cask ales are served, Woodforde's Wherry and Morland Old Speckled Hen.
