Historic Interest

Delicensed 14/08/12, Landlord and owner (?) was Peter Wealthall previously Delicensed 18/08/11 and relicensed 05/12/11 when landlord was Adrian Chadwick and owner Punch Taverns. In May 1981 it was a Tetley Keg Pub, but by February 1983 it was selling Tetley Mild and Bitter (H), but by June 1985 was Keg only. In the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide it was listed in the Stop Press as selling Tetley Mild and Bitter (H). But in October 1990 it was noted as selling Clarks Hammerhead as a guest beer, this also noted in the 1992 Great North Western Beer Festival Programme.
