This Hotel is Permanently Closed

This is a hotel, which means that the bar is only open to residents.

Some original parts are from a 17th century building, but the tudor style black and white front was added in the 19th century when a row of cottages were amalgamated to form the hotel building. It was still operating as a hotel in early 2000s and then closed down. In 2012 it was bought and converted into a Youth Hostel (no longer a bar).
