Please note this Pub is closed 01/01/2007 and became Closed Long Term 22/07/2025 (Closed, change of use granted). Closed 2007. Three planning applications in 2009 & 2010 for redevelopment were refused. Since then there has been no action or planning applications and the pub has been left to fall into a further state of disrepair including an arson attack September 2019. A return to community use has been suggested but with no response from the owners. A new application 21/01143/FUL was submitted 29/07/2021 for demolition and redevelopment. This was passed 22/07/2025 but Southampton City Council planning website will only reflect that once final surveys and mitigation agreements have been sorted.
