This Pub is Permanently Closed

Formerly busy canalside pub dating back to before the canal was built. The Bridge featured in numerous CAMRA Good Beer Guides. Neglected by the owning pub company, the pub declined steadily and was closed in 2011 (exact date not recorded).

The building was sold and converted into a house and flats. See Brsdford Council planning application 12/02020/FUL granted 16 Jul 2012 and building control certificate 12/61264/OTHCFF, decision 28 Nov 2012. A management company "The Bridge Apartments Ltd" was incorporated on 14 Aug 2013.
