This Pub is Permanently Closed

Permanently closed (1/12/16). From the road this pub appears petite but the open plan interior is deceptively spacious and offers a variety of seating. Many interesting historic photos of local and canal scenes. Good value home cooked food available, pies are a speciality, advanced booking for Sunday roasts is recommended. Family and dog friendly, the canal side garden is a good place to watch the passing boats. New beer garden for 2015.

Open until 11 (9 Sun) in the summer. Closed Monday in winter
