The Briarbank is a modern public bar above its own micro brewery (but which has not brewed since early 2026).
As at August 2026 one cask ale is usually served, often from the Chevallier Brewing Company. Keg/craft beers are also served.
The entrance is the pub is from the adjoining yard at the rear and access is obtained up up a flight of stairs.
The bar comprises a single room with a mixture of raised seating, bench seating and chairs around several wooden tables. The counter incorporates some barrels into its design.
Additional seating is available in the yard adjoining the entrance.
Opening hours and food service times may change, and visitors may wish to confirm them with the pub.
Briarbank beers were previously brewed on-site but as at April 2026 are contract brewed elsewhere (when available).
Please see the pub's Facebook page for details of live music events.
Card only payments are accepted i.e. no cash is taken at the bar.
