Proper locals' house set back slightly up the hill from the Brents, west of Faversham creek. Horseshoe shaped bar serving one large room with an adjoining area (no doors) which has a pool table and scope to cater as a separate function room. Beer may alternate but a visit in March 2018 found Master Brew at £2.60 a pint, probably one of the cheapest in Faversham and all bar products are competitively priced! Food ranges from sandwiches to bar meals, such as omelettes and ham egg and chips. Saturday sometimes has a themed food night such as Sausage suppers. Selection of reasonably priced malt whiskies.
Some very interesting old brewery artefacts around the walls and an impressive collection of unopened bottles commemorating the wedding of Charles and Diana.
Unusual hatch servery, in room behind bar, opening to rear of pub for off licence sales, sweets and groceries.
