The Bread & Cheese is located on the main A13 London Road not far from Benfleet and has been recently refurbished after being taken over by new management. It offers high quality food with a friendly service throughout the bar and in the restaurant. It is now a family run business striving to incorporate a warm, friendly and welcoming environment into the atmosphere at the establishment. Pub is now pub dog friendly so you can bring along every member of your family. The beer garden is to the rear of the pub with benches and a patio area. Afternoon tea is now been added to the lunch and dinner menus and is served Tuesday and Fridays 12-4pm. Live music includes jazz nights, acoustic sessions and DJs on some Fridays.
