Owned by Butcombe reopened at the end of September 2015 after a major refurbishment. The inn dates back to the 16th century and has a number of rooms, some used mainly for dining. Accommodation is available in the attached hotel. There is a long single bar with low beams and a good atmosphere for conversation. A function room is also available.
