Comfortable hotel bar (Gladstone Bar) within a genuine hotel, opposite the old site of Newcastle railway station; one single room split into an L-shape. Lunchtime and evening meals, plus drinks, are offered to non-residents; note that the bar may be busy if the hotel is hosting a function. Currently no real ale is offered.
