Historic Interest

In May 1981 it was a Tetley Keg pub. The Pub was not listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide. However, in September 1990 it had started selling Holts Bitter as a guest beer and still was in 1992 as it was listed in the Great North Western Beer Festival Programme as selling Holts Bitter. Had a new sign outside in 1988!
