Well-appointed town centre hotel selling two real ales. Not to be confused with the Bold Arms in nearby Churchtown, the hotel is situated on the town's classic Lord Street, the town's main road and tree-lined boulevard. The hotel is home to the Quads quiz team in the Merseyside Quiz League.
