This Pub is Permanently Closed

Large, 50s built, welcoming, community pub home to football, cricket and cribbage teams. Greene King owned. Popular carvery.

Sadly in March 2012 the Blue Lion was closed and was subsequently demolished and replaced with a small housing estate.

S/2194/11 - Demolition of existing public house and erection of 13 dwellings together with access parking and landscaping.
