Blue Bell Inn, Weaverthorpe

The Blue Bell Inn is a traditional country pub overlooking the village green in the heart of Weaverthorpe, surrounded by the beautiful rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds.

The pub was proudly bought by Sue Perkins in February 2026 and reopened in August, beginning an exciting new chapter for this much-loved village inn. Sue and the family have many years of experience in hospitality and are passionate about creating a warm, friendly pub where locals, visitors and guests can all feel at home.

Working alongside Sue are Lauren and Mark, who play a big part in the day-to-day running of the pub and restaurant. Mark leads the kitchen, serving freshly prepared food from Thursday to Sunday, with a focus on quality ingredients, locally sourced produce wherever possible and dishes that are full of flavour. Lauren helps lead the front-of-house team, making sure guests receive a warm welcome and friendly, attentive service.

The Blue Bell has a welcoming restaurant as well as two private dining rooms, making it perfect for everything from a relaxed meal for two to family gatherings, celebrations and special occasions. We also offer a carefully selected range of wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks, so whether you are calling in for a drink, joining us for dinner or celebrating something special, there is something for everyone.

For guests looking to stay a little longer, we have seven comfortable en-suite bedrooms. All of our rooms are dog friendly, with a charge of £10 per dog, per night, making the Blue Bell a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Wolds with your four-legged friend.
