A dining pub in a small village between Knaresborough and Boroughbridge, there is a small seating area by the entrance with sofas where casual drinkers are welcome, the counter here has one handpump but three others are located in the restaurant area. The restaurant is divided into two areas with a more formal part at the rear, the front part is decorated with books and and a mixture of old pictures of the wider locality. If dining, a reservation is recommended, otherwise disappointment may follow.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
