The Blue Ball is a large, but friendly pub on the main coast road at Sidford. The thatched roof, rough cast walls, stone floors and wood beams look as if they have been there for centuries. You would not know that the whole pub was rebuilt less than 10 years ago after a disastrous fire. The layout, with several rooms around a central bar area, provides a variety of comfortable and spacious seating areas. The pub is busy with locals and tourists every day and appears to be doing well under the new landlord, who took over in 2012. The food is popular with locals and visitors. It is home-cooked and reasonably priced, including a range of pub classics, with a selection of speciality dishes, particularly locally caught fish There is a sizeable enclosed garden to sit in, when the weather is suitable.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (Ocasionally) and 4 regular beers.
