This is a lovely looking village pub; inside and out it retains many original features (e.g. brick mullion windows to the front). Whilst most of the public area is being used as a restaurant it still retains a real pub feel and holds community events (e.g. Charity Quiz Nights), there is always at least one (changing) well kept real ale on offer. The pub specializes in quality home cooked food with some interesting 'Chef's Specials'.
Historic Interest
According to 'WEELEY Through The Ages' the original Black Boy Inn was in the house now called Tocketts next door until Weeley Barracks was built and the house was taken over as the officers quarters in 1803, when the Black Boy moved to its present location.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
