15th century pub with roaring fireplace. Wonderful views across the local countryside from the huge beer garden (arguably the best in Buckinghamshire – but you be the judge!). The restaurant opposing the bar is tastefully split from the drinking area while still feeling relaxed enough to welcome dogs. The drinking areas offer flagstone floors and wooden beams. Very cosy interior and a pleasure to be in. Monthly and lively quiz nights encourage all to take part in the random and often unique question rounds. Good food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere make this a well-loved haunt of customers from near and far.
