This Pub is Closed Long Term

This attractive city centre back-street local was built in 1923 by Burton-on-Trent brewers Brunt Bucknall to the designs of Coussmaker and Armstrong. After a period of increasing negligence, the pub closed in 2012, and there are proposals to redevelop the site with student flats.
