Cocktail restaurant & bar.
This restaurant & bar has undergone many changes over the years. The current emphasis on drinks would appear to be cocktails rather than beer.
However, things were very different in the 1990s, when the pub was known as the Galleon Bar. Back then up to 3 Real Ales were served, according to the 1996 Good Beer Guide. The Galleon even reportedly did beer festivals.
Historic Interest
Dated 1899 and ground floor public house dates from then. Over recent years it has had many bar/restaurant names, trading as the Galleon Bar in the 1990s. Category B Listed. Historic Environment Scotland reference LB25645
