This Pub is Permanently Closed

The pub was closed in April 2017 as part of plans to redevelop this part of Woking for new housing. It was demolished later that year with the site initially used for car parking, before a residential development for the elderly, named New Woodlands, was built on the site. The Master Plan for the area envisaged that a replacement pub or similar would be provided as part of the new development, but this never happened and as a result this large area of Woking is devoid of any pubs.
