Large Victorian house in town centre, near market square, converted to 11 bedroom hotel and pub.

Bar area is in a modern extension to the rear overlooking the large, secluded walled garden, which is ideal for outdoor drinking, weather permitting.

Quiz nights on Wednesdays are well supported.

Orkney ales selected by patrons are served from pins.

May close earlier in winter

Dunnottar Castle, the picturesque harbour and seasonal open air bathing pool are close by as is the home of the deep fried Mars Bar!
