This Pub is Closed Long Term

Friendly village local, this free house dates from the seventeenth century. Good food is served in comfortable and relaxed surroundings; there is a beer garden for the summer, a separate dining area and a warm cosy snug with a wood burning fire for the wintery nights.

Active Campaign

The pub closed in June 2023. A community group (The Bell Inn Iden Community Limited, a community benefit society) has registered the pub as an Asset of Community Value. The current owners have put it up for sale but have struggled to find a buyer. The group are crowdfunding for donations to cover our initial costs while they apply for grants to buy the pub.

See the group's Facebook page and Facebook page for more details.
