This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Bell was a purpose-built 20th century roadhouse, with a single bar divided into three drinking areas. There has been a pub on this site for over 300 years. The name stems from the premature delivery of the church bells when the tower of the nearby St Mary's was rebuilt and the bells were stored in the farm next door. The Bell offers traditional home-cooked food on a constantly changing blackboard menu. To the rear is a large, children-friendly garden with a variety of games.
