This Pub is Closed Long Term

Formerly a commercial hotel, latterly a pub.

Large commercial hotel built in 1906 to cater for trade from the nearby cattle market (now a housing development). A large former stable yard still exists alongside.

Converted circa 2015 to a Tesco Express store.

Historic Interest

Built 1906 to replace the demolished Railway Hotel (formerly the Knights of Malta).
