Historic Interest
Built in 1858 and originally a Salt’s pub until that brewery was taken over by Bass in 1927; during Edwardian times it reputedly housed a Burton Corporation hose-reel station. It remained a Bass pub until at least 1994; recorded as owned by Punch Taverns in 2005 (year of purchase not known), but bought by NewRiver in 2015.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
