The Chalk Hare lies in the centre of Royston and is one of the oldest hotels in Royston. Located opposite the Church, the bar has a cosy atmosphere. There are ample parking facilities and accommodation is available.

In March 2026, following a refurbishment, the hotel reopened as The Chalk Hare and is part of the Acorn Pubs group. The house beer is brewed by St Austell and there are 4 other changing real ales, including local beers.
