This historic 16th century Grade II listed hotel, owned by the National Trust retains many of its original features including a front drinkers bar. The restaurant to the rear serves excellent home-cooked food. A large, picturesque garden overlooks Swanage Steam Railway and Corfe Castle station and enjoys fantastic views of the Purbeck hills. Regular beers from Palmers as well as beers recreated by the Dead Brewers Society are available. Beer festivals are held in the summer.
