A former Barclays Bank that was sympathetically transformed by Wetherspoon, who retained its original ornate interior. The pub is at the heart of the city's popular bar quarter and has a large ground floor with plenty of seating. Additional seating is available at the upstairs terrace. Popular with all ages, it is busy throughout the week as well as at the weekend. It regularly shows matches on its many screens. It has a selection of bottled beers some of which are RAIB.
