It's a very smart hotel. It's not clear if the bar is open to non-residents or not.

Recognised by the AA as amongst the top 200 hotels in Britain, the Ballathie is set in superb Perthshire countryside, with gardens running down to the River Tay. Ever-changing Inveralmond beers were served from the one handpull in the bar.
