This Pub is Permanently Closed
Closed: January 2017. Planning Application: 16/01334 - Change of use to residential. Granted: January 2017.
Formerly the Perseverance and The Avenue, and what was once the smallest pub in Kent, the Arlington closed in 2003 to become a restaurant.
It reopened on Sunday, 31st August 2014 as the latest addition to Dover's burgeoning micro-pub population.
As the last remaining pub in what was once the thriving docklands part of Dover it has no bar, no lager and no keg beer. Cask ales and ciders are on gravity, dispensed from a small temperature controlled cellar room at the rear.
Local ales and ciders will always feature. At this time the food offering has not been finalised. Adrian Street car park is nearby.
