The pub offers panoramic views over Northumbrian and Durham countryside. The original building has been significantly extended to include a large open plan room and bar with a multi fuel stove at the entrance. There is an emphasis on food, which is served all day from 7:30am for breakfast right through till 11:30pm. Alcohol is served from 11am until midnight. Accommodation is available and there is ample parking in the extended car park. At least one and up to three real ales are available depending on the time of year.
