Historic Interest
Spike Milligan's war memoirs contain a marvellous 1945 account of a penultimate leave night spent in this venue with a willing WAAF sergeant girl-friend. The account includes the register-signing before a highly-suspicious landlady, a false wedding ring, and the phrase "I aged 30 years in a night"!
This Pub serves 5 changing beers (Invariably from Kent microbreweries. Three ales on KeyKeg) and 0 regular beers.
