This Pub is Permanently Closed
Closed in November 2017, this was a lively, modern, youngsters' pub opposite the railway station, which dated from 1997. It was built to a faux Victorian redbrick pastiche. The multi-levelled interior had big screen projection TV. Pool was played on the lower level and top level, the latter also has darts. Just before the top of the stairs is a half landing which had comfortable seating. Live music sometimes featured in the evening. The pub closed in November 2017 and it is unknown what the future is.
