Specialist craft beer bar and eatery opened in July 2025 and a great addition to the Wincanton beer scene.

Specialising, where possible, in providing organic, non-commercial beers generally not available in other pubs with every 2 barrels of beer not repeated. Six taps dispense a constantly changing range of live keykeg beers.

A selection of food from local providers can be delivered to tables and the pub also provides cheese boards, pork pies, scotch eggs, etc.

Run by a local resident (Alan) who has extensive experience of the trade.

Historic Interest

Wincawel—meaning "white cawel"—is a historic Celtic name for the River Cale, which lent its original name to the town of Wincanton.
