This is an other drinking establishment and you may be charged for entrance at certain times.

Built in 1820 by the Duke of Montrose as a hunting lodge, but soon after it was converted into a hotel. Located near the top of Loch Lomond on the east side, accessed by road from Aberfoyle. A foot passenger ferry operates on the loch to Tarbet Apr-Oct. The building has been extended many times over the years. It is owned by Lochs and Glens Holidays, so it caters mainly for coach parties, but spare rooms are made available on a B&B basis. The hotel has a lounge bar and a restaurant - no real ale.
