A large urban pub located near to the railway line and canal. It has 2 large TV screens, pool table, darts and a jukebox. It hosts occasional live music and a regular quiz night. Very much a pub for the locals with a collection of framed football shirts. It is a sister pub to the Cornhill Inn (Hardies) on the High Street. No real ale here.
