Built in 1899-1901 this 3 star hotel is family run (three generations) with the Stag dining room catering for 80 guests seated, plus a function area catering for up to 150 guests, popular for business events and weddings. The Thistle room is the public bar with one large TV screen and lots of photos of actors and sports stars The Antler lounge bar is also available, plus a garden room with fire pit. Open all day, plus early breakfast service. No real ale here.
