Formerly known as the Cross Guns, this venue reopened in May 2025 after more than 20 years as an Italian restaurant. The new owners aim to restore its role as a welcoming local pub, featuring excellent beers, a vibrant beer garden, a thriving B&B, and an expanded schedule of community events and live music. As one of the town's largest pubs, it offers a function room, beer garden, and a variety of suites available for rent.
