The Riverside Bar is an outside bar situated in the garden of the Old Water View licensed B&B. It is open during the Spring and Summer on dry days only (when the A-boards are out). The terraced garden, where you can sit and watch red squirrels feed from a nut box, is beside Goldrill Beck. You might see red deer on the far side of the beck.

It is situated just off the Coat to Coast National Trail, and you can get your C2C Passport stamped by Dave or Andrea (the owners).

(There is also a residents' Bar within the B&B, the Wainwright C2C Bar; Alfred Wainwright was a regular guest at The Old Water View Hotel.)
