The M&B Club was formed in 1945 for employees of the May & Baker Chemical works.

The current clubhouse was opened in 1978, and facilities were upgraded in 1999. May & Baker itself closed in 2013.

The club is open to all however members get a discount on drinks at the bar. See comprehensive website for more details of the various sports and activities available here.

There are handpumps in the bars but it is not known if they are used.
