A thoroughly refurbished former social club now a pub, locally owned. A comfortable and cosy bar lounge welcomes drinkers while a good-sized concert room is used for all manner of events such as live music, comedy nights, parties, children's movie nights and other community and charitable events, many free and some ticketed. It often closes early in the evening if quiet. There are charges only for special events in the concert room while the lounge is always available. The four cask ales are increasingly popular while the keg offerings are of better quality than the usual big brands.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
