This Pub is Permanently Closed
Historic town pub, the original building dating back to the turn of the 19th century, but was replaced by the current building in 1913 on the same site. It is stood at the top of Berry Lane in Market Place, with great views overlooking the Ribble Valley and Pennine Hills from the patio at the rear.
The pub closed in 2009 and saw a change of use to a restaurant (Victoria's India then Indian Lounge).
A number of years later, after a successful campaign the building reverted to its original use and the pub reopened in 2017 (see LAW/16797).
