New micropub conversion from previous retail business on the main shopping street. Opened on 27th December 2024 to over 18s only, hours shown may change during 2025 and may close temporarily for further bar installations. Currently only has micro cask and keg ales available but hopefully cask ale to become available after further revamps to the bar structure during 2025. Further details to follow.

Historic Interest

On the site of the former Marshall & Sons Zoo Gardens, whose performing bear gave the pub its name.
