Comfortable "Vintage Inn" next to Travelodge and opposite Marriot Hotel just off Great North Road and A1 north of Gosforth. Modern rustic interior with several drinking areas plus a separate restaurant area. Breakfast served 0900-1100 Saturday and Sunday only. Three of the four guest ales are usually national brands, with one guest usually from a regional brewery e.g. Harviestoun.
