Built in the 16th century as a coaching house and restored in 1874, the grade II listed building has original olde-worlde Northumbrian features throughout. Beer garden at the rear of the premises. Accommodation is in the former stables now renovated as holiday cottages. Food is locally supplied & produced. Food hours may vary in winter.
